This is a camera for 3D picking in factory automation (FA).
By capturing the stripe pattern projected by the projection lens with the imaging lens, it is possible not only to detect objects but also to recognize detailed shapes and sizes of objects.
It can be used in a wide range of applications for industrial robots.

We proposed the RDL (ultra-low-distortion lens unit) as a candidate for the imaging lens, which can save space with its low distortion and wide angle of view, and they were interested.
