The customer was originally using multiple wide-angle cameras to monitor the product shelves, but the number of cameras required per store was large and costly.
Furthermore, since distortions in the lens would affect product recognition, the distorted portions could not be used, and the wide angle of view of the lens could not be fully utilized.
Our RDL lens, which does not distort the periphery of the image and can recognize every part of the image, can reduce the number of cameras required.
We believe that our RDL lens would reduce the number of cameras and solve the cost problem that the customer was facing, so we made a proposal.
