\/>\nThe RDL lens is an ultra-wide-angle lens with a horizontal angle of view of 120\u00b0 and distortion of less than 2%, thanks to our proprietary optical design technology.<\/p>\n<p>General wide-angle lenses used for LiDAR, such as fisheye lenses, cause distortion as if the center of the image is stretched toward the edges, resulting in compression of the peripheral images.<\/p>\n<p>The projection method (f\u03b8 or ftan\u03b8) is also different as shown below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Wide-angle lenses commonly used for LiDAR such as fisheye lenses: isosceles
